What is Pet Sitting?
Pet Sitting allows your pets to stay in the comfort of your own home while you are traveling for work or vacation. It’s an ideal alternative for pet parents who would prefer that their pets not be boarded or kenneled.
When you work with a professional pet-sitting company like Waggy Tails, your pet stays at home while you are away. Each day, a pet sitter will come to your home for several visits to feed and care for both your pets and your home. It’s that simple!
Our goal is to help keep your pets’ normal routine so that you return from your travels to a happy, relaxed pet ready to welcome you home.
We offer an easy-to-use online client portal that allows you to book services and complete payments online.

What is Included in a Pet Sit Visit?
✔ Breakfast, lunch, or dinner served as instructed
✔ Water bowls emptied and refilled with clean water
✔ Bathroom breaks as needed
✔ Medication administered if applicable
✔ Social interaction: playtime, short walks, brushing, cuddling, or whatever is their normal routine
✔ Medication administered if applicable
✔ Mess clean up (potty accidents, hairballs, toys, food, etc.)
✔ Litter boxes scooped and tidied up
✔ Your choice of communication: written note, text, or email
Our vacation home services are also included for free (if desired):
✔ Mail, newspapers, and deliveries brought inside daily
✔ Potted plants are kept watered (upon request)
✔ Trash cans will be set out and brought in for trash day
✔ Blinds are rotated and lights turned on/off
Our Services & Rates
Standard Pet Sit Visits
Our pet-sitting visits are customized to meet your specific pet care and home care needs. Our goal is to keep your pets loved, happy, and healthy and your home secure while you are away. Visits are approximately 30 minutes and include any of the services listed above, as instructed.
STANDARD PET SIT VISIT - $33/VISIT
This visit is applicable to all morning, evening, weekend, holiday and multi-species households with cats & dogs
approximately a 30-minute visit (based on the pets’ needs; always between 25-40 minutes)
includes all of your pets up to a max of 3 dogs or 4 total pets; contact for rates for additional pets

Cat-Only Pet Sit Visits
Sometimes, with cats, you have a more flexible schedule for your pet care needs! We offer our Cat-Only Pet Sit Visits (or small animal) when you’d like to book flexible, once-per-day visits for your cats.
CAT-ONLY PET SIT VISITS (FLEXIBLE TIMES) - $30/VISIT
for cat or small animal ONLY households that need once-daily visits and are flexible on the time of the visit
approximately 20-30 minutes
scheduled at a consistent time frame between 6am-9pm daily
includes up to 3 cats/small animals

By the Hour Pet Sitting
This service is perfect for those pets who need extra company, or extra time due to a health issue.
It’s a great choice for elderly dogs, multiple pets, puppies, or dogs that are crated throughout the day. We’ll discuss a plan for exactly how you would like for us to spend our time to give your pets the most enjoyment!
PET SITTING BY THE HOUR - $38 for the 1st hour
1-hour visit, or book multiple hours
$38 for the 1st hour, $32 for each additional hour

Overnight Sleepover Stays
We offer full overnight sitting services so you can relax while you're on vacation, knowing that your pet is having just as much fun as you are! This is an excellent alternative to boarding, allowing your pet to maintain its normal daily routine in a safe and comfortable environment.
OVERNIGHT STAYS - $100/NIGHT
pet sitter arrives between 9-9:30 pm, spends the night, and takes care of your pets’ morning routine before leaving for the day
sitter spends a minimum of 9 hours in your home overnight
most clients who book Overnight Stays also book 1-2 drop-in Standard Pet Sit Visits during the day.
