It is important for all dog owners to know canine CPR.
The Knoxville Red Cross offer Pet First Aid and CPR classes throughout the year that can give you a good background in how to be ready should a medical emergency strike your furry friend. To get you started take a look at this video from dog safety expert Melanie Monteiro.
Also take a look at Julie Szabo’s post on recent and important updates to doggy CPR techniques that mirror the American Heart Association’s new recommendations.
Please call or contact me by email. It is required that our potential adoptive pet parents take Dog CPR classes. I also need to get my fosters set up with classes as well.
