I was born in Maryville, TN, and lived there my entire life until moving to Oak Ridge 3 years ago to cut down the commute time to my job. I have a BS in Business Management, and an MBA, with a concentration in Marketing. Outside of working for Waggy Tails, I currently work full-time in the Staffing/Recruiting field, and am lucky to have a job that offers a lot of flexibility. When I’m not working, I enjoy nature, hiking, reading, visiting the dog park, and going on road trips.

My family currently has four fur babies. Meeky is a 14-year-old black cat that I took in when her previous owners developed allergies. Odessa is a 4-year-old calico cat who was previously feral and had been found living under a house, but is now the most cuddly member of the family. Dakota is a 13-year-old chow mix that was rescued from animal control. And, the newest addition, Argos is a 4-year-old, 150 lb Great Dane that we planned to only foster through Dames for Danes (a local Great Dane rescue), but I immediately fell in love and adopted him! In addition to my own fur babies, I have fostered other Great Danes through Dames for Danes.
