Amanda – Farragut

Amanda moved to Knoxville from Topeka, Kansas in 2007 to attend the University of Tennessee.  While in college, Amanda began working in the event industry as a bartender and server, and after graduation she became an event planner full time.  In 2010, she met Christopher Howe, a chef who was born and raised in Maryville, and a few years later they married and moved to Farragut.

They soon decided their house wasn’t full enough with their four children—they needed a couple furbabies, too.  So Bella, a 2 year old female chocolate Labrador, and Charlie, a 1 year old female bluetick beagle, joined the family.  They also have a 4 year old South American cornsnake that their oldest daughter named Mr. Squirmy.  He eats frozen mice and ALWAYS poops in the bathtub.

Amanda still works as an event and wedding planner, but her youngest is now in school, so she loves spending her extra time exercising and hanging out with Waggy Tails clients!
